Day 01
Chandigarh |
|
Arrive Chandigarh Railway
Station. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you
to the hotel. Check in at hotel. Start your city tour with Rock garden
which is made out of recycled materials. It has man made interlinked
waterfalls and many other items that has been made by industrial or urban
waste. It was created by Dr Nek Chand. Than visit Museum and art gallery,
it is a place that flaunts collection of Miniature paintings, Gandhara
period stone sculpture, coins and Decorative arts. After that visit Sukhna
Lake that lies in foothills of shivalik range. People visit in the morning
to enjoy fresh breeze and peaceful environment. It also serves as a picnic
spot and very nice place for water activities. In the evening free time
for shopping at sector 17 market. Return to the hotel, overnight stay at
hotel in Chandigarh. |

Day 02 Chandigarh to Dharamshala |
|
After breakfast drive 273 kms
6-7 hrs from Chandigarh to Dharamshala. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day
is free for you to enjoy. We suggest you to enjoy a walk along the mall
road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay
at hotel in Dharamshala. |

Day 03 Dharamshala |
|
|
After breakfast, visit Dalai
lama temple, Bhagsunag temple & water falls. Visit Norbulingka institute
which is perhaps one of its best in the world. Institute has its own
Temple, Museum, Meditation hall, one thousand, one hundred and
seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty four foot high
temple hall. Than we visit residential school run by Tibetan refugees,
also visit Tibetan crafts village, where Tibetan refugees are imparted
training for making various handicrafts, carpet as well as tailoring.
Evening free for shopping in the market. Return to hotel. Overnight stay
at hotel in Dharamshala. |

Day 04 Dharamshala to Chandigarh |

After breakfast, transfer back
to Chandigarh transfer to Railway Station/Airport for you onward journey. |
